The cottage is found just 15 minutes from junction 34 on the M6 motorway, Manchester international airport would be the nearest. We can give full directions on how to get to the house when you book our stay complete with railway guides and other transport available.
The centre of Silverdale is only a five minute walk, the centre houses shops, bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants and many other conveniences.
Lancaster is about 30 minutes in a car or 5 minutes on the train, the lake district and Kendal is also a half hour drive.
Golfing enthusiasts can enjoy a round or too at the Silverdale golf club, visitors are welcome and can take time around the course. The course is 18 holes and is varied with long and short tees.
Populated with wildlife and vast forests this tranquil place offers walks and trekking to remote areas and even as far as the Yorkshire dales. Some local activities include horse riding, fishing, walking and mountain biking.
The beach is roughly half a mile, and offers views across the Morecombe bay.
